As Hurricane Sandy makes its way to land, WELS Christian Aid and Relief is monitoring the storm and has already contacted and offered assistance to the WELS congregations in the storm’s path.

We entrust to your loving care the people affected by Hurricane Sandy. Protect them from physical harm and from destruction to business and property. Bless the efforts of police and fire and rescue personnel as they assist people in their time of need. In this time of trouble and uncertainty, we pray that many people may find comfort and strength in your saving Word and promises. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
