The every member visit is a component of the synod's convention-approved long-range plan to expand ministry through 2017. It is a vital first step to garner the support needed to carry out the rest of the plan. The goal is for every WELS congregation to have ongoing stewardship of finances training in place and, by Jesus' love, to inspire joy in the hearts of every WELS member to participate in that training.
