At the youth rally
At the youth rally

Day 3:
Day three of the WELS 2012 International Youth Rally kicked off with a devotion by returning pastor, Rev. Panitzke, followed by the second keynote presentation by Rev. John Boggs. The theme for his presentation was "How do we achieve a full life through Christ?"
Boggs says, "I want the teens to know that while they struggle with the question 'what do I want to do in my life,' that all of their answers have to involve our Savior. That whatever they want to be, wherever they want to go, they have to know that Jesus leads them there."
Boggs has done keynotes and presentations before for WELS youth rallies, but says every time is a little overwhelming. He says, "To have the opportunity to share your faith with them, to have the responsibility to hopefully give them a nugget of wisdom or a motivation for them living their lives as God's servants - it's a big thing. At the same time, it's just fun."
After the Keynote, many of the rallygoers went on excursions for some adventure with activities like white water rafting, ziplining, and hitting the coasters at Dollywood.
Youth Rally Keynote Presentations
If you didn't make it to this summer's WELS International Youth Rally, or if you did and want to hear the keynote messages again, the two keynote presentations from Rev. Jonathan Enter and Rev. John Boggs are now available online.
