SOUTH ATLANTIC
Several members of Beautiful Savior, Clarksville, Tenn., suffered extensive water damage to their homes from massive storms that dropped 13.5 inches of rain on the area May 1 and 2, causing rivers to flood. The WELS Committee on Relief has granted money to help with immediate needs.

On Mar. 28, Crown of Life, Ft. Myers, Fla., thanked the Lord for the service of Joyce White, who served as organist for almost 25 years and as leader of the women’s Bible study group for the past 15 years.

SOUTH CENTRAL
Twenty-nine tornadoes touched down in Oklahoma on May 10. Holy Cross, Oklahoma City, reports that two member families and one friend of the congregation had extensive damage to their homes and property. The church and parsonage also had minor damage.

For Easter, Beautiful Savior, College Station, Texas, had a Travel Canvass Witness (TCW) team from Wisconsin Lutheran College, Milwaukee, Wis., help it with outreach efforts.

WESTERN WISCONSIN
Trinity, Wilson, Minn.,
dedicated a new entryway on Apr. 11. The entry is attached to the 1914 church structure.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
AZ-CA—
Rock of Ages, Payson, Ariz., celebrated David Sweet’s 25th anniversary in the pastoral ministry on May 30.

MN—On Apr. 25, Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn., celebrated the 40 years of service of Professors Martin Sponholz and David Wendler.

SEW—On Apr. 25, members of St. Peter, Milwaukee, Wis., celebrated the congregation’s 150th anniversary.

WW—On May 23, St. Paul, Marshall, Wis., celebrated Mark Schoeneck’s 25th anniversary in the pastoral ministry.

Camp BASIC (Brothers And Sisters In Christ) is celebrating its 30th anniversary this summer. The camp, located in Wyalusing State Park, provides two one-week camping sessions each year for those with developmental disabilities. For more information, visit www.campbasic.com.
