The Lutheran Women’s Missionary Society held its 46th annual convention in Denver, Colo., from June 25–28. Attendees heard missionaries describe the outreach that WELS is supporting both here in North America and around the world. This year the LWMS distributed more than $342,000 to WELS missions. Pictured are Apache women who attended the convention. WELS has supported mission work in Apacheland since 1893.
