The Seminary of the Lutheran Church of Central Africa (LCCA) graduated ten students in May and awarded them certificates of completion after three years of study. Five of the graduates are from Zambia, four from Malawi, and one from Zimbabwe. The ten graduates will be eligible for their Diploma of Divinity in Pastoral Studies and assignment and ordination in the LCCA after their upcoming vicar year. The LCCA, serving both Zambia and Malawi, is WELS' largest world mission field with more than 50,000 baptized members in more than 285 congregations and preaching stations. About 50 men serve as national pastors in the LCCA.
