To date, more than 2,000 copies of the synod's 2009 Annual Report have been purchased by congregations for distribution among their members.

This year, the report has been published in an attractive, easy-to-read brochure format and offers a quick snapshot of the ministry we conduct as a church body. It's perfect for both new and longtime members interested in knowing more about their synod.

"It's very readable—it communicates well," says Rev. Kenneth Kratz, pastor at St. John's in Oak Creek, Wis. "You don't have to be a financial geek to understand it."

Six copies were sent to each congregation at the end of January. Additional copies are available for purchase for $0.25 apiece through Northwestern Publishing House while supplies last.
