New look for Evangelism site
The What About Jesus Web site from the Commission on Evangelism has undergone a major redesign.
"We wanted to give WhatAboutJesus.com a new, fresh look and have it mirror the appearance of the redesigned wels.net site. Now we have the ability to feature several articles on the front page, so that visitors are more aware of the depth of content on the site. Functionality is improved so that readers can easily navigate through the various categories of articles," says Rev. Michael Hintz, director of the Commission on Evangelism.
WhatAboutJesus.com is intended to reach out to anybody in the world who wants to learn more about Jesus. "We are seeking to reach as many people as we can with the truth of salvation through Jesus. We encourage the members of our congregations to use www.whataboutjesus.com and share it with their friends who need Jesus," says Hintz.
One of the popular features on "What About Jesus" are the daily devotions. The Commission on Evangelism has compiled several series of the devotions into two new booklets for congregations.
The first booklet focuses on the passion history and Jesus' resurrection recorded in Matthew chapters 26–28. The second discusses the source of a Christian’s joy—the grace of Jesus—based on the book of Philippians. Both items are sold in packages of 10 from Northwestern Publishing House for congregations to distribute to members and to use for outreach.
