Copies of the WELS Annual Report 2012 are now available. Every WELS congregation is being sent six copies of the report, and one is being included in the annual statement of each direct donor to the synod.

The report showcases the significant work that God in his grace is accomplishing through the people of WELS. This year’s report appears in a new booklet format that includes more photos and information from WELS ministries, schools, and subsidiaries.

Rev. Kurt Lueneburg, director of the Ministry of Christian Giving, says: “People want to know how their offerings are being used, and this report provides the answer. It is a summary of the ways we are using those offerings to spread the gospel around the world.”

Mr. Lee Hitter, director of WELS Communication Services, adds, “It is projected that by 2014, mobile Internet usage will take over desktop Internet usage. So besides the print version, for the first time, we are offering an online digital version that is optimized for mobile devices, so even more members can now access this informative annual report on their tablets and smartphones. Our hope is that every member in the pew will know the blessings that God has provided WELS through their support.”

Print versions of the report are available from Northwestern Publishing House for $.40 each. Christian giving counselors are also available to present a PowerPoint presentation to your congregation that summarizes the information in the annual report.
