  • I'm a new subscriber; how do I sign up for WELS newsletters, devotions, and other electronic subscriptions?
    You can sign up for WELS subscriptions like "Together," Today's Devotion, Through my Bible in Three Years, An Encouraging Word, and CLS weekly e-news by visiting the online subscription form and checking all content you’d like to receive. You only have to enter your e-mail address; no user names and passwords required!



    Complete the subscription request form by clicking on "Subscribe."

  • Why do we ask that you confirm your subscription?
      1. We want to ensure we have your correct e-mail address.
      2. We want to ensure that someone hasn’t had his or her address submitted against his or her wishes.
      3. We don’t want to send unsolicited mail — it’s abusive and time-consuming.

    Once you confirm your subscription, you will receive an e-mail.

    New feature: You now have the option to "Adding us to your address book" to allow successful delivery of e-mail.


  • I'm already subscribed; how do I manage my subscriptions?
    After you've visited the subscription form and signed up for all WELS content you'd like to receive, you'll be able to manage your subscriptions by clicking on "Manage my subscriptions" or [ CHANGE EMAIL SETTINGS ] in the footer of any WELS electronic content you receive in your inbox.




  • Unsubscribe from all WELS lists if you no longer wish to receive this subscription.
  • Manage my subscriptions and [ CHANGE EMAIL SETTINGS ] allows you to manage all of your existing subscriptions. The form will display all existing information entered at time of subscription. You may modify e-mail, name, subscription, and format.
  • Forward to a Friend if you want to send a link, a personal note, and subscription information to someone else.
  • I changed my e-mail address. How do I update my contact information to continue receiving WELS subscriptions?
    On the footer of the electronic newsletter, select "Manage my subscriptions." or [ CHANGE EMAIL SETTINGS ] .





    You will then see your profile and subscription information. Update your e-mail address and click "Update Profile."

    You will receive a "Profile Updated" notice and at this time you can review all your information.

  • How do I unsubscribe from a specific newsletter?
    On the footer of the electronic newsletter, select "Manage my subscriptions." or [ CHANGE EMAIL SETTINGS ].





    You will then see your profile and subscription information. Uncheck a specific newsletter you want to unsubscribe from and click "Update."

    You will receive a "Profile Updated" notice and at this time you can review all your information.

  • Can I forward a newsletter to a friend?
    On the footer of the electronic newsletter, select "Forward to a Friend."





    A new page will open for you to fill in your friend’s information.

    After each message you send, it will give you another opportunity to send to an additional friend.

  • What e-mail addresses should I whitelist?
    Simply add these two e-mail addresses to your mail program’s addressbook or contact list:

  • do-not-reply=wels.net@mcsv101.net
  • do-not-reply@wels.net
  • Read more on white-listing from our service provider especially if you suspect your internet provider’s firewall is blocking deliveries.

  • I accidently unsubscribed from ALL WELS subscriptions. What should I do?
    You will need to re-subscribe by going to: http://www.wels.net/subscribe and filling out the subscription form. Remember to checkmark the box of the newsletter that you would like to receive.

  • I'm subscribed but am not receiving any e-mails from WELS.
    If you are subscribed and still not receiving any e-mails from WELS, see the Q&A in this section about whitelisting an e-mail address.

  • I completed the subscription form, but I'm not receiving any newsletters.
    You must check the box for each newsletter you would like to receive. If an item is not checked, you will not receive it.

  • Why was my subscription deleted?
    If our system received a return message such as "I'm on vacation" (auto-replies from your recipients) it will give you five chances before deleting your e-mail from our list. If our system receives a "hard bounce," (such as an inactive account, or undeliverable address) we remove the e-mail address from our list immediately. We automatically clean bouncebacks from our list, just as we remove un-subscribes immediately.

  • I used to get the call reports, but now I haven't been receiving them.
    Subscriptions for the call reports have changed. The call reports are now delivered the first and third Tuesdays of each month via the "Together" e-newsletter. If you want to continue receiving the call reports, you must subscribe to "Together."

  • How can I print all pages of a call report?
    We are aware that only page one of a call report will print when the user selects "Print." Until this issue is fixed, you can highlight all text of the call report, select "File/Print" on the toolbar, and click on the "Selection" box. All text that is highlighted will now print.

  • Can I get WELS subscriptions delivered in both HTML and mobile format?
    The recommended HTML format is best for people who view their e-mail on a computer. If you want to receive your content in mobile format, you'll still get the full HTML version of your WELS subscription; the only difference is that it will also be compatible with your phone. This means when you check e-mail from your phone, your content will display correctly.

  • Content from a newsletter rolls off the screen? How can I see the rest of the content?
    You will want to adjust your subscription to a Text format. This is the same as HTML, but more condensed.

    If on a computer, you may be using a lower screen resolution. You can adjust this yourself by using these directions: change screen resolution.

    If using WebTV: WebTV resolution.

  • How do I manage my listserve subscriptions?
    These subscriptions are not offered on the new subscription form.

    To manage your listserve subscription, go to the appropriate web site URL listed below. Enter your e-mail address and password. Once signed in, you will be able to update your profile or unsubscribe.
