How do I work the puzzle?

In order to work the puzzle, you should select the clue and then select the matching word. Click submit, and if you are right, the letters to that word will appear on your screen.

My screen is misbehaving after I hit the submit button. What now?

Also, the "Redraw Screen" button is provided in case a letter does not get drawn (that only happens on occasion). Depending on your platform and browser, the numbers may or may not disappear when a letter appears. All the letter graphics are made to be transparent, so theoretically the numbers should still be visible when the letter image is swapped over the number image. But it appears that, except for Netscape 3 on some platforms, the transparency doesn't make a difference.

What if it still isn't working?

This crossword script won't work for old browsers! This script requires a JavaScript 1.1 capable browser. Get Netscape 3+ or MSIE 4+ and try again.
