“It definitely doesn’t mean your struggles in life are over. Far from it. As far as strugglers go, I’m probably close to the top half of the list. Being diagnosed with AIDS and HIV a number of years ago, I’ve had a life-long struggle with homosexuality, actually giving in to the gay lifestyle for a while, before the Lord led me back out of that.

“It means I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ as my savior and believing that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and knowing what Jesus has done for me, I’ll be with him in heaven one day.”

If I were to die tonight, I know that I would spend eternity with God in heaven without question. I know that because I understand his Word when it comes to salvation and the promise that Jesus has given to all of us, that faith in him, true faith in him, leads us to salvation, and lead us to that place. I mean, there’s just no question. You know, once upon a time did I have my doubts, yeah.

I attended multiple denominations. And saw many different messages. And I can tell you that sets this denomination apart, what sets this group of people apart is they really understand salvation. They understand what it means to be saved. They understand how God works his salvation. They understand how to preach that message of salvation.
