For me it really came down to, I believe the Bible is real or not. Is what God says real or not? Do I trust who God is? Do I trust what he says? And, it came down to submitting to him. And, submitting to his word and submitting to his will.

Initially, I was thinking that I was going to convert her. That yeah, I was the one with the masters in religious studies, I was the one who knew it all. I was who had the right idea of who God was. Looking back I realize how silly, how arrogant, how prideful I really was in that. How confident I was in my education, in my own ability to convince people, whatever.

If you really know salvation, and you really understand what Jesus has done for us and understand how from the moment that we fell in the garden that God immediately had this plan for bringing us back to him. Immediately! He started working his plan to bring us back to him and to have us with him in heaven.

My faith in Jesus is what is going to take me to heaven.
