Creation of angels
Where does the Bible speak about the creation of the angels?
Answer:
The short answer is: It doesn't.
Only God is eternal and uncreated (Genesis 1:1); therefore, the angels are also created beings (Psalm 103:21-22; Colossians 1:16).
The angels were made at some point within the six days of creation (Genesis 2:1-2). Some have speculated that they were made on Day One; others, Day Two or Day Five; others, Day 4, because of the link between the angels and the stars that is sometimes visible in the Old Testament (e.g. Job 38:7).
Since man--not the angels--is the climax of God's creation and the center of the 'drama' of Scripture, it is reasonable to conclude that the angels were made before man, not afterward.
